The Task Concept
In Lenya CMS, a task is used to implement a process
which can be invoked by the user. Tasks are triggered
from the sitemap using a
TaskAction
or scheduled using a TaskJob.
Typical tasks are
- publishing a page,
- exporting a page to a live server,
- manipulating a file,
- sending an e-mail, or
- creating a backup of your site.
